Champions League Farewell

Today is the second leg of the Champions League quarter finals between Bayern Munich and Barcelona and for the Bavarians the end of this season’s attendance in European football, naturally. As Klinsmann makes clear, nobody is hoping, nobody is dreaming of a miracle, everybody is focusing on the Bundesliga where the minimum goal of winning at least one title is still highly at risk. So it’s all Bielefeld instead of Barcelona. The press is saying that Messi won’t start from the beginning which means that Barca coach Guardiola is giving his football stars a well-deserved rest. The reds from Munich just hope to avoid another Barcelona bashing and thus, to say goodbye with dignity and decency. There’s simply no way that they’re able to realize that miracle. Or will Barcelona get a nasty surprise…? Noooooo….. Or will they??? Nahh, come on…but maybe…
