Klinsmann still not axed - Bundesliga week 27

4-0 against Eintracht Frankfurt. Suddenly they remembered how to play football. Good, congrats. That actually might help you in the 2nd Champions League leg! But still, I mean you saved your coach from being sacked. Because of the lucky last minute 2-1 win of Wolfsburg in Mönchengladbach, Bayern Munich is still three points short of the top position of the Bundesliga tables.

Got no time today that’s why the capture is quite brief. The other games: Cologne needed a second goal to recover from a 1-2 half time deficit in Dortmund. And they even managed to score another. No, unfortunately not the equalizer, FC center back and high flyer Géromel got the better of his own goal keeper and attained a pretty funny own goal. Borussia Dortmund defeated Cologne 3-1. Well done.

Schalke 04 extended their winning streak, defeating Karlsruhe 2-0 who were not able to score for 12 (twelve that is) hours. Again: congrats.

Another relegation classic: mighty Energie Cottbus defeated mighty Arminia Bielefeld 2-1. Women and children had benefited from free tickets to the match. Yep, congrats to that one as well.

VfL Bochum achieved a stunning 3-0 away win at Hoffenheim, having Stanislav Sestak scoring three goals and giving them a boost in the relegation-fight (anti-relegation-fight, of course). Way to go!

And a big big Congratulations! Goes to Andriy Voronin who received the 1000th red card in Bundesliga history. Not only did his Hertha BSC Berlin lose 0-2 at Hannover 96 but he allowed free play to his frustrations, revenge kicking his opponent first and then after being sent off kicking the ball at him while still on the ground. If you suck, you hafta suck big time.
