Off to Barcelona

The lame ducks from Bavaria took off to Barcelona today (with a one hour delay due to a plane’s oil change – just in case you were interested…) for tomorrows Champions League game at the Camp Nou. Bad news: After the Wolfsburg match center back Daniel van Buyten is also going to miss this game, due to private reasons. Brazilian international Lucio is still suffering from an injury he received in the Bayern defeat and stays in Munich as well. That gives Breno and his pals from the magical defensive triangle Ottl and Lell the chance to ridicule themselves once again. No. Of course not. They are going to make up for their Saturday’s performance. And thank God, they do not have to deal with Grafite, Dzeko and Misimovic anymore. Henry, Eto’o and Messi are their opponents’ names now. Don’t know whether you heard of them before, but they’re supposed to be a notch better than the Wolfsburg trio…
